ABOUT US

Airportho Utrecht is run by a team of orthodontists; these are dentists who have completed a three or four-year specialist course in dentomaxillary orthopaedics, or orthodontics. Orthodontists not only straighten teeth but also regulate the growth of the bone of the upper and lower jaw. The orthodontist strives to ensure that the teeth are in harmony with the rest of the face.

Orthodontists, especially nowadays, cannot do without skilled and committed employees. There are secretaries, for example, who are responsible for the proper planning of appointments, administration and correspondence. There are orthodontic assistants working at the chairside, who carry out parts of the orthodontic treatment together with and on behalf of the orthodontist.

Working efficiently allows orthodontic treatment to proceed as smoothly and structured as possible. This aligns perfectly with the social and political desire for high-quality care at an affordable price. The costs of orthodontic treatment in the Netherlands are now among the lowest in Europe.
